Rod End Thrust Force Sensor FCL is made of stainless steel based on strain gauge technology offering 0-100N / 0-200N / 0-300N / 0-500N / 0-1kN / 0-2kN / 0-3kN / 0-5kN / 0-10kN / 0-20kN / 0-30kN / 0-50kN 12 rated measuring ranges intended for both tension and compression force measurement. The threaded rod on the top of the sensor can be used to mount attachments such as load buttons and eye bolts for different applications. Compared to universal side cable outlet, thrust force transducer FCL adopts bottom cable outlet which helps save the mounting space, tension compression load cell FCL is suitable for in-line force measurement. Model FCL can be modified or customized as per request of our clients.

A load cell (or loadcell) is a transducer which converts force into a measurable electrical output. Although there are many varieties of loadcells, strain gauge load cells are the most commonly used type which is comprised of a solid metal body on which strain gauges have been secured to form a wheatstone bridge which delivers mV/V output.
Load cell output: = (Power supply * Rated output) * Load / Capacity
Rated output of FCL is around 1.5mV/V.
Power supply is normally within 3-15V.
Load / Capacity is within 0-1.
So the output range of thrust load cell FCL is -22.5mV...+22.5mV(Tension and compression).
Example one: Pull and Push Load Cell FCL-100N with 1.5mV/V rated output powered by 10V DC,the output range is -15mV...+15mV(Tension and compression).
Example two: Thrust Force Sensor FCL-500N with 1.5mV/V rated output powered by 5V DC,the output range is 0...+7.5mV(Compression only).
A signal conditioner is normally used with the load cell to deliver -5~5V, 0-10V or 4-20mA output for easy data processing:
Example: Thrust Force Transducer FCL-1kN working amplifier FSC(0-5V)-24V,the load-voltage relationship will be 0-1000N thrust force VS 0-5V output,1V output corresponds to 200N load, 2V output to 400N load,and so on.
