Compact Load Cell FH02 is made of aluminum alloy based on strain gauge technology. Weight transducer FH02 offers 0-0.5kg / 0-1kg / 0-2000g / 0-3kg / 0-5000g / 0-6kg / 0-10kg / 0-15kg / 0-20kg nine rated measuring ranges to choose from. Weight Sensor FH02 is temperature compensated to deliver stable readout throughout the working temperature range. Single point load cell transducer FH02 is corner trimmed for platform sizes up to 120x120mm, suitable for off-center load measurement.Beam Type Load Cell Sensor FH02 is widely used for bench scales, weight monitoring laboratory equipment, home appliances, dosing machines and other weighing applications. Custom made service is available at Forsentek if the current specifications are not applicable.

A Load Cell(loadcell) is a transducer that converts mechanical force into electrical signal which is proportional to the weight(or force) being applied.The measured load or force causes deformation of the measuring element(elastic body),the bonded strain gauge deforms accordingly which will cause the resistance change of the wheatstone bridge,under constant power supply, the output signal between Sig+ and Sig- will change proportionally, thus the load/force can be measured by measuring the output signal from the load cell which is normally within 0-30mV for loadcell sensor FH02.Overloading is the most common cause of loadcell failure, a load cell is just like a spring in certain aspects, which will be damaged if overstretched. A machanical stop(refer to below picture) can be used to protect the sensor from excessive deformation. The gap distance can be determined by loading the sensor with rated capacity,then adjust the meachnical stop to reach the bottom of the transducer.In most cases,the load cell will be used to measure load at 30-60% of the full scale,thus the gap distance can also be adjusted using reference load a little higher than the target load to be measured instead of the rated capacity.
